What’s included in this 6 month program:

• Learn sales techniques and client liaison

• Create repeatable and efficient photography workflows

• Planning a shoot - interpret the brief, create packing lists, agree a shot list

• Photography training - progress from event photography second shooter, to first shooter, to solo shooter

• Portrait mastery - build a repeatable approach to portrait lighting, build a go-to set of subject poses (then learn to freestyle!)

• Learn tethered shooting

• Build your own consistent event & portrait editing workflow, using emerging AI tools in conjunction with Adobe Lightroom Classic

About you:

• You’re a solid photographer with a great Instagram or website portfolio

• Access to 24-70 & 70-200 f2.8 zooms (or similar if you use crop sensor) and a flash unit, & you can shoot in manual

• Your not afraid of putting yourself out there to get experience, and maybe you’ve already scored one or two paid gigs

• You’ve definitely got experience working with Lightroom Classic

Commitment:

• Expect two shoots (either portrait/event) and 1-3 edits per week based on demand. Event shoots may be in the evening or on a weekend.

• Freelance/on demand rates of $35ph general assisting/editing, $75ph second shooting, $150ph first/solo shooting. (Minimum 3hr callout).
